That’s what I have to ask myself, now that I am the proud owner of a Samsung Galaxy S android based phone.

It has so many great features, and lots and lots of apps (more than half are free).. and I’m not tied into what the company that created the phone or OS thinks is best for me as far as apps, content, or heck even cell service providers.

I’m really excited about this phone, well, it’s not really just a phone of course… it’s a small computer with a lot of kick. And lots of options…

What I love about my phone out of the box:

1) I can replace the battery without sending it in to Samsung.
2) It integrates my social network with my contacts simply
3) Screen is big and awesome
4) it has a multi-touch screen
5) more things arise as I continue to use it

It’s awesome, and sure the OS is from google, but I can do things to it that I could never have done with the iPhone… plus I’m not locked into one carrier.

It just makes sense, and as a friend of mine said to me “It’s logical”… and it is.
