Today I went online, to be a good citizen, and do shopping at Walmart.com.  Good citizen because I am not wanting to waste gas to go to the store and find out they don’t have the item I was looking to purchase.

It’s cool online because not only can I search for the best price, but I can see if it’s in stock at a store near me… I found a TV wall mount for 89 bucks.. SWEET.. so I checked if it is in stock at the Walmart nearest me.. it is… SWEET…

I go to Walmart, there it is on the shelf… AWESOME.. but it’s 114 bucks, not 89… not SWEET.

I go to get rung up and ask the lady why the difference in price? And she said….

The store has to pay for insurance because people come in and shop.  The price from Walmart.com is cheaper because they are a warehouse and they don’t have people coming in to shop.

Hmmm… kind of makes sense..

I then said; So if I order it online and have it shipped to this store I could pay the 89 bucks and not the 114?

She looked at me and said; Yes, would you like to do that now?

Weird, but SWEET…
