Science fiction writers have long 'predicted' the rise of 'AI' or artificial intelligence in their futuristic stories. Robotics in manufacturing has already improved quality and efficency of many products we take for granted.

Is this brave new world inevitible? Or merely a pipe-dream?

Of course I vote for real human talent. There are a lot of things that scientists come up with that will dazzle the mind yet turn out to be impractical.

All we can do is to 'raise the bar' and push ourselve to work at a higher level. If technology will replace 'human' performance in the years to come, we should not lay down a play dead now. We should not make it 'easy' to be replaced by machine. If the 'fear' of such a device forces us to work harder, maybe it's a blessing in disguise.

The Fox late night show "Red Eye" has been using this for several weeks to parody various topical news issues. It certainly is an interesting "Toy" for now. It will be more interesting to see how the technology develops and how - or if - it finds a home in on-line training... or anywhere else.
