The latest fare from movie makers is riddled with crap.

3d-crap, special effects crap, crappy writing, crappy acting… just lots of empty calories.

Stop worrying about people not coming to see a movie because it isn’t in 3-d.  Please just spend some time and write a good story.  Then if the story calls for it, use the special effects, 3-d and so on… in a good way.  It’s been done, and has been successful, and highly enjoyable… memorable!

The story doesn’t even have to be new (in reality there are no new stories, just recycled themes)… but it has to be good.  Write it so it doesn’t insult the intelligence of the audience. If it’s a story that leans towards kids, write at an adult level (sans some adult themes)… Kids will understand, or have it explained.

Less crap, more story; a finely crafted story…
