Ok, so it’s been a rough go.  Last week I was losing some weight, just by kicking soda.  And I finally am off the bubbly nasty (but tasty and refreshing) brew.

My wife had sent me an article on what Soda of any kind does to your body.  It’s a good read, check it out here:

Most of this I already knew, but there is a lot of information in the article.  You might just stop drinking soda, diet or not, yourself.

Alright, back to the losing computer fat.   So, I started out last week at 300.2 lbs, I got down during mid week to 297.5 pounds or so.  And when I weighed myself yesterday morning I had done it!  I had gotten right back to the beginning.  I weighed 300.2 lbs.

Bummer.

Well, it’s really not that surprising.  I had just started to change some of my bad habits, and get onto some new ones. I just have not gotten onto the new ones far enough.  A little part of me wants to just forget the whole thing and go back to what I was doing before.  But I’m not listening, I’m not going to quit.  This morning I started riding my stationary bike, recumbent, and will continue the walking of the dog, eating properly and drinking lots of tasty water.

Dang, you would have thought I could have kept the almost 3lb weight loss. :)
