Ok, Apple sucks!

I have been an Apple fan for years, the first home computer I had was an Apple IIe. I have enjoyed using Apple computers and products for years and years. I have a Mac mini… an iPod Touch… and lots of non Apple computers and phones…

But I have finally come to the realization that Apple has caused me much pain and turmoil in my life.

Apple comes out with the slickest and easiest computers, phones and media players ever created. Their designs are nothing short of spectacular, designed with the user in mind. And that is why they suck. And that is the cause of my pain, THEY CAUSE ME TO WANT BETTER!  They tease and mesmerize us… with the promise of productivity, creativity and entertainment…

Damned are we who are looking for an alternative to the seductive and usable Apple products… Damned because we couldn’t see spending the amount of money they want for their superior products. We who have invested THOUSANDS of dollars into software to do our work, and reel at the idea of spending more THOUSANDS of dollars to move to the superior platform.

No, I won’t buy an Apple Mac just to stick Windows on it and run the software I have… that would be like having a juicy, delicious Kobe Beef Steak; but having it made with Tofu… YUCK! If I ever make the pilgrimage fully to Apple, it will be pure and untouched by a non-Apple Operating System… simply pure… Apple!

So, I sit and wish for products as cool and great as the iPhone, Mac computer, and an iPad… with all of my current compute power and software as a stone around my neck.  You know, I would have never started Computers Are Stupid if I had ponied up and stuck with the Mac.. it would have been Computers Just Rock..

With that, I am now going to reboot my Windows Vista machine because it is slowing down… sheesh
